A Wedding Dinner

So half a month ago on new year eve, I drove myself back on a lovely morning and reached Taiping just in time for breakfast with the parents. Leaving behind the crazy new year eve celebration in KayEl and return to peacefulness in Rain Town for a few days.

Well, part of the reason for me making this random trip back was actually due to this :-
Mei Jun's (Niel) wedding dinner.
on 1111. Nice date heh ?

All these while I have been telling her to invite me for their wedding dinner when they two finally decide to make everything official and legal. Therefore when I got informed by her about the time and date, I just gotta confirmed my attendance with her. A promise is always meant to be fulfilled right?

When I told most of my friends that I was about to go back to attend a wedding dinner of a friend, the first question that popped out from them were about her age and they were pretty shocked to find out that she was actually the same age as me. I know a lot of people might be wondering what are they thinking when they are still at such a young age but what I want to say is, when the time comes and you are sure that you have met the right person, age shouldn't be the barrier to pen your signature on that piece of paper right?

I was kinda worried about not seeing many familar faces over there at first, but thankfully everything went fine. =)
Dinner started punctually at 8pm.
A good tradition that shall be continue. =)

Overall the food was nice.
And everyone on the table was drinking Red Wine like no tomorrow.
You know, the usual drinking challenge stuffs....

with Shien Ching.

with Meggie Lye.

with Sheng Jean and Hua Jin

yam-sheng-ing with Max and Mei Jun.
And Max got rashes on his back the next morning consequences of too much drinking that night. It took him quite some days to heal.
Felt so bad about it. lol.

with Poh Cheng
when all the guests were about to leave

we went on stage to take more photos.

with the bride herself.

spoted these cute small kids.

inside the lift.

went to Station One after that to chill out a while.

What a way for her to start her 2011. New journey starting from a new year. Offering the both of them my very best wishes for this journey of the life time. Was kinda touched to see the both of them walking together on that red carpet. And felt nice hanging out with those people who I don't often have the chance to. Great Night indeed. ^^

So, who's next to have another wedding dinner?? =P
